A Morayfield woman has confessed there will always be a special place in her heart for the family member who gifted her an entry in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw - unknowingly gifting her a $1 million win.

The winning woman held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4266, drawn Monday 6 March 2023 and takes home $1 million.

“This is incredible! To think it was a birthday present!” she exclaimed when we confirmed her incredible windfall.

“Isn’t this just awesome? I’ll be able to help so many people with this money!

“In all honestly, I’ll probably just give most of it away.

“As a mother, all you want is for your children to have a secure and fantastic life, and this is going to make sure that happens.

“Before that though, I’ll have to search for a new car for my husband and I. That will be a great help.

“And I’ll celebrate with my family as soon as I see them.

“Thank you so much. This is going to change my life.”

The winning entry was sold at TSG Morayfield & Lotto, Shop 3A, 312-344 Morayfield Road, Morayfield.

TSG Morayfield & Lotto’s Bharti Patel said the team were so excited at having sold a division one winning entry that they lost all composure for a few minutes while they processed the wonderful news.

“This is the first time we have sold a division one winning entry since we opened our store seven years ago,” she said.

“We will celebrate by putting up some balloons and streamers to highlight this milestone.
