If you come across a Melburnian in good spirits today, it might be because they’re toasting to a division one win in the weekend’s TattsLotto Superdraw.

There were 16 division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 4243 on Saturday 19 March 2022 – nine of which were held by Victorian players.

So far in 2022, there have been seven division one winning entries in Melbourne’s south-east that have taken home more than $13 million.

Dandenong traveller to explore the globe with $1.2 million TattsLotto win!

A Dandenong man who arrived home from a camping trip to discover his $1.2 million TattsLotto win is looking forward to swapping his sleeping bag for a suitcase to travel around the world.

When an official from The Lott called the victorious Victorian this morning, he was patiently waiting by the phone to have his life-changing news confirmed.

“Oh my, thank you so much! I’m in disbelief,” he laughed.

“I came back from a camping trip on Sunday morning and discovered the news. I didn’t know if it was true and my wife also didn’t want to believe it.

“It was a last-minute decision to purchase an entry the night before we left to go camping and I’m so glad I did.

“I’ve been playing TattsLotto for a while now – I’d say five or six years. It’s great to finally score big!

“We would love to purchase a home and go travelling around the world. We might visit Japan, Canada, and Malaysia!”

His winning 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

Decade-long syndicate delivers $1.2 million TattsLotto win!

Twenty Melbourne shoppers are in celebration mode today after discovering their decade-old syndicate ‘High Roller’ scored $1.2 million in TattsLotto.

In addition to winning division one, the syndicate’s System 10 entry also scored division three 24 times, division four 90 times and division six 115 times, boosting the syndicate’s total prize to $1,275,516.30.

Each of the 20 winning syndicate members receives a share worth $63,775.82.

However, some members of the syndicate may have yet to realise their good fortune, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.

The winning syndicate was established by Karingal Lotto News and Gifts, Shop S042, Karingal Hub, 330 Cranbourne Road, Frankston. Shares into the syndicate were also sold at:

  • Good Luck Lotto
  • Rosebud Plaza Lotto
  • Hampton Park Lotto
  • Ivanhoe Plaza Jackpot Lotto

Karingal Lotto News and Gifts co-owner Greg Tzitzivakos said he couldn’t be happier to see some of his local customers finally win big.

“We started this TattsLotto syndicate about 10 years ago with our own marked numbers and it’s been ongoing ever since,” he said.

“We named it ‘High Roller’ about a decade ago because I think we all dream of going to Vegas one day and that’s where it came from!

“Ten of the syndicate members purchase an entry into the syndicate every week! The majority of the members are locals as well, so it’s really great to see them win a division one prize.

“It’s been a whirlwind of emotions this morning with some of them already discovering their win! One of the syndicate members shared that they’d purchase a brand-new car.

“Congratulations to all the winners and we wish them all the very best!”
