Thirty Central Queensland residents won big in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw and are ready for a life-changing 2023 after two $1.4 million division one wins landed in the region.

A Calliope man and the 29-person Yeppoon syndicate held two of the 14 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4363 on Saturday 13 May 2023. Both entries each won a division one prize worth $1,428,571.43.

29 Yeppoon players stroll into the working week with a share of $1.4 million Saturday Gold Lotto win

Twenty-nine players from Yeppoon have started the week with a boost to their bank balance after sharing a $1.4 million division one prize in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

Each member of the syndicate received a winning share worth $49,464.64.

However, some syndicate members may have yet to discover their winning news, prompting lottery officials to encourage players in the region to check their Saturday Gold Lotto tickets today.

Entries into the winning store syndicate were sold at Cedar Park Foodworks, Shop 9, Cedar Park Shopping Centre, 1 Swordfish Avenue, Yeppoon.

Cedar Park Foodworks owner Ross Lane said he was over the moon for his division one winning customers.

“We’ve only been operating for just over six months, and this is our first division one win, so we’re absolutely stoked!” he said.

“It’s also fantastic to know so many of our customers will share in this fantastic win.

“Great to see everyone getting to share a bit of love.

“We’ll be celebrating for weeks, but right now we’re trying to come to terms with the fact we’ve sold a division one winning entry.
