Five days after TattsLottos biggest lottery event of 2017 the mystery winner of Coburg’s $1.4 million TattsLotto Megadraw division one win has revealed his shock at discovering he was now a millionaire!

The winning entry was one of the 21 division one winning entries in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw 3803 on 30 December 2017 each taking home a division one prize of $1,428,571.43.

However the winning entry was not registered to a Tatts Card which meant Tatts officials had no way of contacting the winner to break the life changing news and had to wait until the winner made contact to claim his prize.

“I’m shaking and happy and excited! I’ve never won anything in my life!” he exclaimed.

“I’m so excited! It’s unbelievable, all these years I’ve been playing TattsLotto and then ‘bang’ there it is!

“I normally get a TattsLotto 12-game entry, but because it was a $30 million Megadraw I got a 50-game entry, and I won on game 16!”

When asked how the happy winner planned to begin his new life as a TattsLotto millionaire he confessed he wasn’t going to blow it.

“I’m going to invest it and set myself up with a little place. I’m not going to go stupid, I’m just going to put it away and set myself up.

“I won’t be buying a Ferrari or a flash car, all I want is a nice little two bedroom unit!”

The winning entry was sold at Coburg Hub Lotto, Shop 2, 403 Sydney Road, Coburg with the win cementing the outlets reputation as one of 2017’s Lotto hotspots after it sold its second division one winning entry in just six weeks.

Coburg also sold a division one winning entry in November of this year, delivering a total of $2,792,912.98 in division one prize money this year.

Tatts reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Tatts Card.

Throughout Australia, there were 21 entries that won a division one prize of $1.428 million in the $30 Million Megadraw (draw 3803) on Saturday 30 December 2017.
