Doncaster East woman celebrates $2 million TattsLotto win
A Doncaster East woman is looking forward to celebrating this weekend after discovering she held a TattsLotto division one winning entry in last Saturday’s TattsLotto $20 million Superdraw.
The thrilled woman held one of the nine division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3873 on Saturday 1 September 2018. Each entry took home a division one prize of $2,222,222.23.
When speaking to a Tatts officals to confirm her win, the Doncaster East woman shared the shock of the division one win was still sinking in.
While some weekend celebrations are no doubt planned, exactly how the winner plans to use her TattsLotto windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous.
Tatts spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said TattsLotto division one winners often shared their windfall with those special people on their Lotto List.
“Whether it’s family or friends, almost every TattsLotto player has a Lotto List of people they can’t wait to share their good fortune with. Some tell us they’ll help their adult children with a house deposit, while others shout their best friend a new car, while others even put it towards their childrens education costs to set them up for the future” she said.
“With their bank account about to balloon by more than $2 million our Doncaster East woman winner can look forward to deciding how she will use her prize and potentially who she will share it with.”
The happy winner purchased her 18-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com, Australia’s official lotteries.
