Hobart woman’s heavenly $1.5 million TattsLotto win ramps up retirement plans
A Hobart woman has declared her recent good fortune won’t change who she is after she bagged more than $1.5 million in a recent TattsLotto draw.
The terrific Tasmanian held one of the 13 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4307, drawn Saturday 29 October 2022 and took home a total prize of $1,538,461.54.
“I’m still struggling to process the win. It’s such a surreal feeling!” she exclaimed when speaking with us.
“It’s definitely going to set me up for retirement sooner than I’d imagined but I love my life, so I’ll continue to work and do the things I love.
“In saying that, it’s an incredible feeling and it’s definitely changed my plans for retirement in the future.
“I’d been having a coffee and eating my breakfast when I decided to check my entry.
“It was such a shock that I couldn’t eat anymore once I’d realised what had happened.
“Thank you so much. I still can’t believe this happened to me.”
Her winning 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Moonah Newsagency, Shop 12, 109 Main Road, Moonah.
The Moonah Newsagency team said they’re over the moon to have sold a division one winning entry and wish their winner all the best for the future.
