A Kenmore man revealed he was so excited after discovering his Saturday Gold Lotto win of more than $450,000 in the weekend’s draw that he hasn’t slept in two days.

The Brisbane man landed one of the 12 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4295 on Saturday, 17 September 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $451,772.22.

We called the sleepy but excited man this morning, who was eagerly waiting by the phone to hear his winning news confirmed.

“I found out after the draw on Saturday night. I was absolutely blown away when I checked my online account,” he laughed.

“I can’t believe it! It’s insane.

“I haven’t slept in two nights. I keep thinking about how much money it is.

“My family, we’ve never been really well-to-do, so this money is life-changing for us.

“I can’t begin to explain what it means.

“When I told my family, many cried, and others cheered. It was awesome!

“I will use the prize to buy myself a small house or a unit and help my family. It’ll be my first house, so it’s a big deal. I’m excited!

“Thank you so much. This is a dream come true!”
