A Labrador woman didn’t know whether to laugh or cry or do both this afternoon after the revelation she’s now a millionaire from the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto $30 Million Megadraw.

The woman held one of the 21 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3803 on 30 December 2017.  Each takes home a division one prize of $1,428,571.43.

The unsuspecting woman told a Golden Casket official she had heard there had been a win in the area, but didn’t for a minute think she was holding a division one winning entry.

“It’s wonderful!” the woman sobbed.

“I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.  It’s a big relief.

“When they told me I had won I just went numb – totally numb.

“I can’t believe it.  You don’t know how great this is.  This is just fantastic!

“I’m in shock.  I’ve never won anything in my life – not even a meat tray.  Is this for real?

“This year’s going to be a whole lot better than last year!”

The woman plans to use her $1.4 million win to pay off her mortgage and hinted her retirement plans may now be a step closer.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning 36-game QuickPick from Glory Newsagency Labrador, Shop 2, 100 Brisbane Road, Labrador. 

Glory Newsagency Labrador owner Robert Sun said he was delighted his outlet had sold its first division one winning entry.

“All morning everyone has been coming in asking if the winner has been found.  We’re so happy for the winner and so happy for our outlet!” he said.

“It’s our first division one in 10 years.  Hopefully it won’t be long before our customers win big again!”

Throughout Australia, there were 21 entries that won a division one prize of $1.428 million in the $30 Million Megadraw (draw 3803) on Saturday 30 December 2017. 

Four of the division one winning entries were purchased in Queensland, three from New South Wales, five from Victoria, two from Tasmania, two from South Australia, and five from Western Australia.

The six winning numbers in the $30 Million Megadraw (draw 3803) on Saturday 30 December, 2017 were 6, 30, 9, 35, 27 and 37, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 14.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 225 so far this financial year, including 56 won by Golden Casket customers.
