Last year’s $40 Million Megadraw was shared by 17 division one winning entries across the country that each scored an incredible $2.7 million prize. We can’t wait to see who takes out a mega-sized prize this New Year’s Eve.
It’s the last major draw for the year and your last chance to become a millionaire in 2022, so make sure you're set for an unforgettable year ahead and get Megadraw ready.
How to play
Lotto’s $40 Million Megadraw (Draw 4325) takes place on New Year’s Eve, Saturday 31 December 2022. For your chance to win, you’ll need to make sure you have an entry before the draw closes at 7:30pm AEST.
Simply select the number of games you wish to play, then choose your six preferred numbers ranging from 1 to 45. You could also choose a QuickPick where your numbers are randomly generated for you.
If you’d like the share the fun with family, friends, or even with your community, you might like to play as a syndicate. In last year’s Megadraw, three syndicates held a division one winning entry, meaning even more Aussies got to enjoy that winning feeling!
How to win
In a Lotto draw, six winning numbers and two supplementary numbers are randomly drawn from a barrel of 45 numbers. To win a slice of the $40 Million Megadraw prize, you need to match all six winning numbers in a single game panel.
However, with six prize divisions, you can still win a prize by matching as little as three winning numbers in one game. Learn more about winning number combinations.
How to make some Mega Memories
There’s no one way to enjoy a Megadraw prize, and we’ve spoken to enough winners to know that Megadraw Millionaires often have dreams as unique as they are.
Following last year’s Megadraw win, a Bathurst man wanted to take care of his mum; a Mackay winner declared he’d be “working less and holidaying more.”; while a Mount Barker dad was going to help his children step onto the property ladder.
In one truly memorable moment, a Westlake winner shared how he celebrated his winning discovery.
“We looked again, and it actually said $2.3 million! The New Year’s Eve party just continued after that. We didn’t get to bed until 2.30am, and then we got up at 5am on New Year’s Day,” he said.
How would you react if you scored a slice of the $40 Million Megadraw prize?
