Monbulk woman eyes home renovations with $1.5 million TattsLotto win
A Monbulk woman can’t wait to chip away at long-overdue home renovations after landing a $1.5 million win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Dandenong Ranges resident held one of the 13 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4307, drawn Saturday 29 October 2022. Each entry scored $1,538,461.54.
Despite discovering her newfound fortune first thing on Sunday morning, the Victorian exclaimed it still feels like a dream.
“I can’t get over it!” she laughed when confirming her win with us.
“I checked the ticket on Sunday morning and I’m still in shock — It still feels like a dream!
“I’ve played TattsLotto for many years and it feels good to have finally won big!
“I’ll take it slow and think about it. It’s a lot to process.
“When I stop being in shock, I’ll celebrate!
“Our family can put the prize towards doing some house maintenance.
“We look forward to replacing the deck and putting in some solar panels!
“We’ll put the remaining prize towards boosting our retirement plans.
“Thank you so much.”
Her winning entry was purchased at Monbulk Newsagency, 76 Main Street, Monbulk.
Monbulk Newsagency owner Selena Dang said her team can’t believe they’ve sold a division one winning entry to a local woman.
“We’re so excited to have sold a division one winning entry, especially after a busy week at the store with some amazing prizes on offer in Powerball and TattsLotto,” she said.
“We’ve been decorating the store with balloons and posters and letting all of our customers know that we’ve sold a division one winning entry!
“Monbulk Newsagency has sold more than fifteen division one winning entries over the years, so we’re ecstatic to add another to the winning list.
“Congratulations to the winning woman and thank you for supporting our newsagency. All the best with your prize and just enjoy it!”
