While many of us are dreaming of a brighter year ahead, one group of thrilled Aussie lottery players had a radiant start to 2021 thanks to Saturday Lotto’s $30 million Megadraw. 

Nineteen winning entries across Australia scored a division one prize, making 16 newly-minted millionaires and sparking plenty of joy for players in three syndicates. Each winning entry takes home a prize worth more than $1.5 million.

Megadraws have a reputation for making millionaires by the dozen and sure enough, the weekend’s draw made a considerable spike to our millionaire tally.

Megadraw win shines on 44 syndicate players 

Three winning syndicate entries also scored a division one prize, resulting in an additional 44 players enjoying a slice of the $30 million prize pool.

Victorian players in a fine state

Victoria came in as the top winning Megadraw state, landing six of the division one wins. New South Wales players scored four winning entries, while three each landed in South Australia and Western Australia, and one in Tasmania.

As well as our division one winners, there were over 4.2 million winning entries in divisions 2 to 6 sharing in $78.9 million in prize money.
