South Gippsland woman’s last-minute ticket yields “life-changing” $2.1 million TattsLotto windfall
A young South Gippsland woman is thanking a last-minute decision to grab a ticket into the weekend’s TattsLotto draw for her “life-changing” $2.1 million windfall.
The Victorian held one of the 14 division one winning entries across the country in TattsLotto draw 4281, drawn Saturday 30 July 2022. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2,142,857.15.
“It’s changed my life,” the winner in her 20s declared when confirming her win with us.
“I only ever buy a ticket every now and then. I’ve never really won anything.
“But this ticket I bought about 7pm on Saturday night at the last minute before the draw closed.
“I’m glad I did!
“Before I went to bed on Saturday, I just had a feeling I should check my ticket. And it was a winning ticket!
“I got no sleep after that.
“I’m wanting to build my own house, and now I can mortgage-free. I might be able to upgrade a few plans for the house too.
“It’s a great feeling.”
Her winning 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
