“They mean the most to us”: Yarrawonga couple to give back to their parents with $2.1 million TattsLotto win
A Yarrawonga couple has admitted to continuously crying tears of joy after discovering their $2.1 million win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Palmerston residents held one of the 14 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4281, drawn Saturday 30 July 2022 and take home a total division one prize of $2,164,799.55.
The winning entry was unregistered, so our team had no way of contacting the winners to reveal the exhilarating news and had to wait for the ticketholders to come forward.
The dynamic duo was left mind-boggled after checking their ticket and discovering they’re newly made TattsLotto multi-millionaires.
“Thank you so much, we can’t believe it,” the winning man proclaimed.
“We’ve cried tears of happiness ever since we found out this morning. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions!
“As soon as we found out, we told our parents straight away.
“Our parents are actually right next to us now. We want to share this moment with them!
“The main priority is to look after them. They mean the most to us.
“Once we’re able to sit down and process it all, we would love to celebrate as a family.
“Thank you for the best phone call!”
Their winning entry was purchased at Paper & Pen, Shop T58 Gateway Shopping Centre, 1 Roystonea Avenue, Yarrawonga.
Paper & Pen team member Rharnia Hewett the team were tremendously happy to have sold a division one winning entry to a local couple.
“Our whole team have been completely over the moon since we found out we sold our first division one winning entry in the weekend’s draw. It feels amazing!” she said.
“We can’t believe someone has walked away with a winning ticket worth $2.1 million from our locally owned store, and we love that we were apart of the winning moment.
“We can just imagine the Palmerston community is stoked for this winning couple whose lives have now changed forever, in the best way possible.
“Congratulations on scoring division one and we wish you all the best with your future endeavours.”
