“You’ve knocked me off my seat!”: Grantville woman floored by $2 million TattsLotto win
A Grantville woman has declared she will forever treasure the moment she received the call revealing she won $2 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Western Port resident held one of the 10 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4515, drawn Saturday 26 October 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $2 million.
The winning woman and her husband were completely oblivious to their good fortune until we made contact to reveal the enormity of their prize.
“Oh, thank you! Thank you!” the winning woman cried.
“I’m so ecstatic!
“I’ve had a TattsLotto ticket each week for decades – where there’s luck, there’s hope.
“TattsLotto has just been part of my life. I’m a realistic person, but I’ve always had the hope and always thought you’ve got to be in something to win it.”
When asked how she might enjoy the prize, the married winner said she and her husband already had a few ideas.
“We’d love to help a couple of charities close to our hearts and, of course, family,” she said.
“We love travelling around Australia – it’s such a massive country. So, this will help us have future travel adventures.
“What a great day!
“You have a terrific job – you’ve knocked me my off my seat!
“This is a golden phone call! I will treasure this call forever!”
The winning entry was purchased at Grantville Newsagency and LPO, Shop 2, 1501 Bass Highway, Grantville.
