Burwood mum to pay off her daughter’s mortgage with $2.5 million Saturday Lotto win
A Burwood mum has explained she always thought she’d one day win the lottery and on the weekend that day finally arrived, delivering her a $2.5 million prize.
The New South Wales player held one of the eight division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4129 on Saturday 13 February 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $2,500,000.00.
When an official from The Lott called her this morning to break the life-changing news, she had no idea what she was about to hear.
“Oh this sounds like it is going to be good,” she laughed.
“Are you serious?
“Oh my god. I’m a multi-millionaire?
“Oh my god. I cannot believe it.
“I thought you were one of those annoying people calling to try and sell me something!
“Oh my god. I am so excited.
“I always tell everyone that I am going to win and everyone thinks I am crazy. But look at me now!
“I’ve won!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy life as a multi-millionaire, she explained it wouldn’t just be her enjoying the prize.
“I’m going to pay off my mortgage and maybe even my daughter’s mortgage,” she declared.
“I’ll also pay some bills and buy myself a new car!
“It will be amazing.”
The life-changing 6-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Supanews Xpress Bankstown, Shop 207, Centro Bankstown, North Terrace and Lady Cutler Avenue, Bankstown.
Supanews Xpress Bankstown employee Shahida Khan said the win was an exciting milestone for the outlet.

“We are so happy that we’ve done it again. It’s such fantastic news both for us and our customers.
“Congratulations to our winner. We wish them all the very best!”
