A Greystanes man has declared his working days are over after becoming a multi-millionaire from the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
 
The Sydney resident held one of the three division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4483 on Saturday 6 July 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $3,333,333.34.
 
In addition to his division one prize, the winner’s marked System 8 entry also scored division three 12 times and division four 14 times, bolstering his total win to $3,344,195.44.
 
“Oh mate! I’ve been playing these numbers for 40 years and they’ve finally come up!” the happy man exclaimed.
 
“Oh mate, it’s a dream come true. I don’t even know how much money that is.
 
“I did check my ticket last night and I knew I had won it, but it just hasn’t sunk in.  It’s just incredible.
 
“And it’s come at the most perfect time. My retirement has come early!
 
“I’m going to finish off the home renovations that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I’m going to finish the house off how I like it and then I can relax.
 
“I’ve waited 40 years for this!”
 
The man’s winning marked System 8 entry was purchased at Greystanes Centre Newsagency, Shop 19, Greystanes Shopping Mall, 665-699 Merrylands Road, Greystanes.
