“Oh my god! That’s amazing! I’d been hoping someone would call me to confirm the news!” she exclaimed.
“I don’t know what to say. I’m speechless. I’m in shock.
“I checked my ticket on Sunday. When I first saw it, I thought it said I had won $3,000!
“Then I looked again, and I was just in complete disbelief.
“I couldn’t do anything after that. I didn’t know if it was real or not.
“Now you’ve confirmed it I don’t know what to say. I’ll have to let it sink in. Wow!
“I’ve just been going about my life as normal. I’ve got things to do!
“I came into work this morning because I’m so busy. But I think I’m going to have to head home.
“Who can concentrate at a time like this?”
When asked how she planned to enjoy life as a newly-minted multi-millionaire, the overjoyed woman confessed the windfall would go a long way towards helping her realise her dream of owning her own home.
“Since COVID hit, it feels like everything has been put on hold,” she explained.
“Things have been a bit tough, and I’ve got a few people in my life who need a bit of help.
“This win will mean I’ll be able to pay off my mortgage or even buy a new house.
“I’ll be able to help my family, who need help.
“Once we can travel again, I’ll definitely be going on holiday!”
