A Chatswood man has confessed he had to hold onto something to stop himself from collapsing after discovering he’d won $699,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
 
The Sydneysider held one of the eight division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4339, drawn Saturday 18 February 2023. Each division one winning entry won $685,236.47.
 
“These are my new special numbers and I’ve only been playing them since December last year!” he exclaimed.
 
“I didn’t even realise I had the six numbers, I thought I had five.
 

“When I was told I’d won division one I felt sick, just nauseous. I had to hold onto the counter because I thought I was going to collapse.

“I can confirm I probably had about two hours’ sleep last night. My head was all over the shop!

“It’s been a pretty amazing weekend in all honesty! This win is going to change my life completely.
 
“I’m going to get some dental work done. I’m going to donate some of the winnings. I’m going to buy a new car, and I might even look at buying an apartment.
 
“I feel like the world has just opened up to me!
 
“Thank you so much!”
 
The winning man’s marked System 9 entry was purchased at Westfield Chatswood Newsagency, Shop 229 Westfield Shopping Town, 1 Anderson Street, Chatswood.
 
The Westfield Chatswood Newsagency said they were over the moon to have sold a division one winning entry and wished their winner all the best for the future.
