A Queanbeyan man has been left in a state of shock after discovering his $1.2 million Saturday Lotto windfall while watching TV this morning.

The New South Wales resident held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4365, drawn Saturday 20 May 2023, and took home $1,258,797.80.

“Mate, this is unreal!” he laughed when an official from The Lott called to confirm his newfound fortune.

“I didn’t think I’d won a thing! But as I was sitting here watching TV this morning, I thought I’d better check it again.

“That’s a whole lot of numbers right there.

“I can’t believe this is happening to me! I’ve got to go and tell my wife!

“These winning numbers have been my special numbers for almost 15 years and to see them all light up this morning was something to behold.

“I’m not sure what I’ll do now! I’m a bit lost.

“This is really going to set me up for the rest of my life.

“It’s the icing on the cake as they say!”
