Two Saturday X Lotto division one wins landed in Adelaide over the weekend, giving two locals a sweet million-dollar treat each just in time for Christmas and the New Year.
 
The South Australian residents were among the five division one winners in Saturday X Lotto draw 4529 on Saturday 14 December 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $1,051,492.38.
 
An Enfield man held one of the division one winning entries, while a couple from Gawler held the other.
 
One winning entry was purchased Northpark Newsagency, Shop 78 Northpark Shopping Centre, 264 Main North Road, Prospect, while the other was purchased from Mawson Central Newsagency, Shop 12, Mawson Central, 9-15 Main Street, Mawson Lakes.
 
The two division one wins come less than a week after a Burra man claimed the entire division one prize in last week’s Oz Lotto draw, taking home $50 million.

An Enfield man has struck gold in Saturday X Lotto after pocketing more than $1 million - and his pearly whites are first in line to benefit from the windfall.
 
“I’m so excited!” he cheered.

“It’s going to come in super handy. First things first, I need some dental work, so I’ll be doing that straight away. The dentist isn’t cheap!

“From there, I’ll plan to see a financial advisor.
 
“My family went bananas when I told them! Everyone’s just gobsmacked.
 
“I checked the winning numbers Saturday night. I thought I had won $1,000 at first.
 
“When I realised, I’d won division one, I thought ‘No way, it can’t be!’. It was a very sleepless night after that.
 
“I’ve been using these numbers for who knows how long. I’ve just always stuck with them. Now here we are!
 
“Thank you so much.”
 
His winning entry was purchased from Northpark Newsagency, Shop 78 Northpark Shopping Centre, 264 Main North Road, Prospect.
 
Northpark Newsagency owner Vinod Bhanderi said it was a wonderful surprise to hear one of his customers had taken home division one.
 
“I was thrilled when my wife rang me and said our store had sold a division one winning entry in the weekend’s draw,” he said.
 
“Our customers will be very happy to hear about the win. They've been saying we’re due for one.
 
“This will be our second major prize sold since I’ve taken over ownership, but we’ve had other great wins before my time.
 
“A few of our big prizes have been sold during December. It seems like it’s our lucky month!

Gawler couple dance into Christmas with Saturday X Lotto division one win

A Gawler couple are cruising into Christmas mortgage-free and helping their parents do the same after scoring more than $1 million in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
 
“We’re over the moon!” the winning husband cheered.
 
“Honestly, we’re pretty numb. We just can’t believe it.
 
“What a nice way to end the year!

“I was in disbelief when I checked the ticket. I just kept checking it over and over.

“For starters, we’ll be paying off the mortgage. I can’t believe we’re going to be debt-free!
 
“We’re also going to pay off any debts our parents have.
 
“We can’t thank you enough. This is going to be the best Christmas ever.”
