Edithvale mum plans to pamper kids with $1.3 million TattsLotto win
An Edithvale mum is beaming with excitement following her $1.3 million win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, declaring she can’t wait to spoil her kids in 2025.
The victorious Victorian held one of the four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4531, drawn Saturday 21 December 2024, and looks forward to a total prize of $1,356,163.72.
Melbourne’s southeast has celebrated 28 major lottery wins in 2024, with players collectively taking home over $38.8 million in prize money.
The ecstatic Edithvale local shared she was completely stunned by the news that she’d become a millionaire just in time for Christmas.
“Thank you so much. It’s unbelievable,” she shared.
“I couldn’t believe it when I checked the ticket on Sunday.
“It’s perfect timing with Christmas being this week.
“I’ve been faithful to TattsLotto for about 50 years, so it’s nice to have finally picked up a division one win! I’m in too much shock!
“My husband and I will help the kids out with the prize. They’ll be pleased.”
Her winning entry was purchased at Edithvale Authorised Newsagency, 242 Nepean Highway, Edithvale.
The Edithvale Authorised Newsagency team said they were pleased to have sold a division one winning entry to a local family and wished them all the very best with their endeavours.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4531 on 21 December 2024 were 44, 27, 38, 18, 9 and 25, while the supplementary numbers were 23 and 7.
