Geelong man steps out of shower and into million-dollar TattsLotto win
A Geelong man’s morning shower has been interrupted by a life-changing phone call revealing his million-dollar TattsLotto win.
The Victorian resident held one of the five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4231 on Saturday 5 February 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $1,158,125.80
Confirming his win with us this morning, the elated winner explained he had initially declined the winning call by mistake while coming out of the shower.
“Wow! I had no idea,” he chuckled.
“I tried to answer the phone, but I didn’t have my glasses on! I couldn’t see what I was doing, so I accidently hung up on you.
“I’m just going by my morning and getting ready for the day. I definitely didn’t expect this.
“This is wonderful news! I play TattsLotto every week and have been dreaming of winning big for about 40 years now.
“I’ll keep the winning news on the down-low, but I’ll definitely tell my wife this morning. She won’t believe it.”
While the prize offers the potential for a new car or a holiday, the euphoric winner confessed he was too stunned to make any concrete plans at this stage.
“I’m not sure what I’ll spend the money on, but I’m sure it will be something worthwhile,” he said.
“I’m a bit too overwhelmed to think of anything at this stage.”
His life-changing 50-game Quickpick was purchased at Nextra Bacchus Marsh Village Newslotto, Kiosk 9, The Village Shopping Centre, Bacchus Marsh.
