A humble Port Augusta retiree has declared winning a $613,000 division one prize in X Lotto was a ‘beautiful feeling’ while revealing he plans to give it all away to loved ones. 

The Spencer Gulf resident held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4039 drawn Saturday 4 April 2020. Each division one winning entry takes home a prize of $613,016.67. 

Sharing his joy with us, the happy winner revealed he had humble plans for his windfall. 

“I’m giving it all away to my family!” he declared. 

“I’m going to pay off my children’s mortgages and give some to my friends. 

“I’m going to buy my neighbour a new car as he often drives me around. Now we can drive in style. 

“I don’t need it for myself. I’ve got a nice little house and people to look after me. 

“The only thing I might buy myself is a nice new comfortable bed.” 

The thrilled winner said he had been vying for the chance to win the big one for decades. 

“I’ve been playing X Lotto ever since it began,” he confessed. 

“A couple of years ago I won division two but finally winning division one is just a beautiful feeling!” 

The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Terry White Chemists – Port Lincoln, 43 Liverpool Street, Port Lincoln.
