St Kilda woman comes forward to claim mystery million-dollar TattsLotto win
Four days after the draw, a St Kilda woman has finally checked her TattsLotto entry and was left feeling ‘on top of the world’ after discovering her million-dollar win.
The inner seaside resident held one of the five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4231 on Saturday 5 February 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $1,158,104.80.
Speaking to us this morning, the Victorian relayed how the life-changing discovery came about.
“I’m still shaking! It’s absolutely wonderful,” she laughed.
“I checked the ticket at the newsagency before starting work and the team member said I’d won something. I thought to myself, ‘Oh yeah, here we go!’
“I was so used to winning smaller amounts, so I didn’t think anything of it. I thought, ‘It’s probably just $20’, but I was wrong!
“The team member told me that I had won division one. I kept asking her, ‘Are you sure? Are you sure?’ I didn’t think it was true. It felt like I was in another dimension.
“I ended up being so late to work and I was forced to tell my boss!
“Besides telling my boss, I told a few family members and received a beautiful response.
“I feel on top of the world. It’s life-changing.
“I’m not too sure what I’ll spend the money on, but maybe a holiday will be on the wish-list.”
Her winning entry was purchased at Prahran Market Lotto Tobacco & News, Shop 817 183 Commercial Road, Prahran.
Prahran Market Lotto Tobacco & News owner Anna Lim said the team is happy to see the local winner come forward and claim her life-changing prize.
“This is an exciting milestone for our customer and also our outlet!” she said.
“We’ve been sharing the news and encouraging all our players to check their tickets in the past week, so it’s great the winner has come forward.
“Congratulations to our winner and we wish them all the very best.”
