Cranbourne North winner speechless after $1.7 million TattsLotto win
A Cranbourne North TattsLotto winner has revealed they are speechless after discovering the news this morning they are more than $1.7 million richer from winning division one in Saturday’s $30 million Megadraw.
The thrilled winner held one of the 17 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3907, drawn Saturday 29 December 2018. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $1,764,705.89.
Speaking with us this morning, the Melbourne winner declared the life-changing news was ‘magnificent’.
“Oh my god! I can’t believe it! Are you really from Tatts?” they exclaimed.
“This is wonderful! This is a blessing!
“I’m crying! I can’t believe it! I’m speechless!
“Last night I was sitting at home watching a movie and I saw the draw numbers come up on the television but I didn’t think anything of it.
“I woke up this morning and I got an email from the Lott saying I had won a significant amount.
“I checked my ticket and I said ‘no! I can’t believe it! Six numbers straight!
“To hear you confirm the prize is just magnificent!
“It’s just unbelievable. I’ve dreamt of this all the time and now it has come true!”
The happy winner revealed their methodology for choosing their marked numbers.
“I go online and check out the hot and cold numbers on the website and how many draws they have come out in,” they explained.
“This is what I’ve based my numbers on. I put these numbers on in the hope of winning something one day and that’s what happened!”
When asked how they planned to spend their TattsLotto windfall, the thrilled player instantly replied they planned to become a homeowner.
“I can buy myself a home! I’ve been renting for so long!” they excitedly exclaimed.
“I will share it with my family too. It will really help us all out.”
The regular player purchased their winning 18-game marked entry at Avenue Village Lotto, Kiosk 1, The Avenue Shopping Centre, 20 Linden Tree Way, Cranbourne North.
Avenue Village Lotto owner Nariman Taweel declared the whole team at his outlet were excited to hear they had sold a division one winning entry.
“This is fantastic news! Not just for the outlet but for our customer too!” he exclaimed.
“We will be celebrating in store by putting up balloons and signs to let everyone know we’ve sold a winner. We hope we get to congratulate the winner in person one day!
“We have a lot of loyal and supportive customers who will all be thrilled to hear what we’ve sold a division one winning entry and that someone from the Cranbourne North area won it.
“This is the first division one winning entry we have sold at our outlet so we are thrilled. We hope it is the start of many more to come!”
