August 31 may have been the last day of the month, but for players with a division one winning entry in Saturday Lotto’s Superdraw, it was the first day of the rest of their lives.

In what proved to be a super exciting weekend, seven entries took out division one in Saturday Lotto’s Superdraw event.
Each division one winning entry took home a $2,857,142.86 slice of the massive $20 million prize pool.

The multi-million-dollar windfalls landed all over the country. New South Wales and Victoria had two winning entries each, while South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland each had one. There were also 948,946 winners nationally across divisions two to six.

No doubt our winners will have a spring in their step as they say goodbye to winter and head into the new season with that winning feeling.

We’ve been busy contacting the players who had a division one winning entry from Saturday’s Superdraw and they’ve revealed that sharing with family, buying a house, and getting a new car are all on the table as they contemplate how they will use their prize.

Two generous grandmothers were amongst those holding winning entries, one from Werribee in Victoria and another from Forster in New South Wales.

The kind Werribee grandmother told us she was looking forward to sharing her prize with her family.

“I’ve got four kids and five grandkids so I am going to help them out,” she said.

“I called them as soon as I knew and they were all crying. The news has given them hope for the future.”

Similarly, the loving grandmother from Forster had home and family on her mind.

“We’re going to renovate the house and share the prize with the family,” she revealed.

This was the fifth Saturday Lotto Superdraw to take place this this year. Collectively there have been 43 division one winning entries across all Superdraws in 2019.
