A man in his 40s from Bondi Beach is this morning reeling from the shock of discovering he won the guaranteed $1 million division one prize in Monday Lotto draw 3762 draw 7 May 2018.
 
As well as winning the division one prize of $1 million, the happy winner’s System 11 entry also won division three 30 times and division four a remarkable150 times, bolstering his total prize $1,020,487.00.
 
When speaking with a NSW Lotteries official this morning to confirm his win, the shocked winner was so overcome with emotion from the news he could barely speak.
 
“Wow! That’s amazing!” the man exclaimed once the news had started to sink in.
 
“It has come at a great time. It will absolutely come in handy.

 “I checked my ticket on the app and it said I had won but I never imagined it would be that much. 
 

“I play pretty regularly and when I can I try to play a Systems entry.”
 
When asked how the winner planned to spend his Monday Lotto windfall he confessed he already had his eye on some local real estate.
 
“I’m not going to be stupid with it,” he said.
 
“I wouldn’t mind buying a place at Bondi Beach.”

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Bondi Sixway News, 66 Hall Street, Bondi.
 
Pren Kumari Tamang, team member at Bondi Sixway News, said she was excited to hear the outlet had sold a division one winning entry.
 
“It’s great news! We haven’t sold a division one winning entry for years,” she said.
 
“Hopefully it is the start of more wins for our customers.
 
“Congratulations to the winner, we wish them all the best with their prize!”
 
The six winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3762 on Monday 7 May 2018 were 17, 39, 38, 33, 14 and 8.  The supplementary numbers were 44 and 5.
 
Across Australia there were only one division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3762 – the one from New South Wales.
 
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 357 so far this financial year, including 109 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
