A Chermside grandfather has confessed he wants nothing but to share his incredible good fortune with his family after winning more than $875,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

The Brisbane resident held one of the six division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4301, drawn Saturday 8 October 2022 and took home a division one prize of $875,660.18.

Confirming his win with us, the winner thanked his special numbers for his life-enhancing windfall.

“I’ve played the same numbers for more than 20 years and at last I’ve won!” he exclaimed.  

“I feel incredibly grateful at the moment.

“It’s something I never thought would happen to me!

“I’ll definitely share it with my family. I can’t wait to surprise them and see the shocked looks on their faces.

“It also gives me security moving forward.

“That’s all I can really ask for, to live my life the way I want to from now on.

His winning entry was purchased at Nextra Chermside Newsagency, Shop 385 Westfield Shoppingtown, Gympie Road, Chermside.
